On this week’s episode we have part one of a special guest segment with Kelly Aarons and Kissless of World of Warcraft, Eh? (woweh.com) online comic. Illidarian of Epic Dolls joins us for the interview and we talk about everything from art to role playing on a PVP server.
We continue the show with a round table discussion about Christie Golden’s book Rise of the Horde, and follow up with regular segments from the cast. Matt presents Lore Library, Mox presents another Character Development about role-playing with antagonists, and Michael presents The Little Things which involves using professions to enrich your character.
This Episode is long and full of great stuff in this episode, so kick back, grab your mug, and enjoy the show.

The podcast is great as always. And the sound production is amazing.
I do have one bit of constructive criticism but I’m not sure anything can be done. Each interview seems to be a bit choppy. It almost sounds as if the questions are recorded and the answers are done afterward. But that is such a minor thing that I almost feel embarrassed to mention it.
Thank you for your comments. We do actually record everything as a group including questions except for cast segments. Since we want the nature of the show to be informative (almost magazine-like) we have opted to incorporate a heavy amount of audio editing. We do have a few episodes of just the out-takes and other hilarity (which we are calling “Hearthstone Tavern Backstage”). More about those soon.
Great work everyone! I’m quite thoroughly enjoying these pod casts! The bits and pieces and reviews and tips. I’m always happy to learn that some of the things I use in my own roleplay find their way into what you all are doing.
Keep up the good work!

Yes, though dancing naked Night Elves are quite pesky.
That comment makes no grammatical sense! Do forgive me, I lost my glasses.
((This was the first podcast episode I tuned into, I like the format muchly. Many thanks for the amusing bits throughout, it made many smiles!))
Excellent podcast as always. I’ve been mulling over a Kosh’harg roleplaying event since I read Rise of the Horde. The Kosh’harg was actually held twice a year, at the spring and fall equinox. This year, Earth’s (not Draenor’s) autumnal equinox falls in during Brewfest, which could make for some interesting RP!
I love this =]
You should do a segment on creating RP characters with 1, 2 or more friends.
I have found creating characters with a group or a friend is amazing, you sit around talking about backstories and how your two characters are going to fit with each other.
Just started listening to this and normally I don’t like shows that do nothing but talk seriously on a topic(s).
But I will have to admit that this was a very strong and entertaining podcast. Great job. I really like how you gave tips on how to add your professions to your RP character’s personality/history. Something I do unconsciously with characters, but now I know how to make it stronger.
Look forward to hearing more,

Hearthstone Staff:
The podcast keeps getting better. I’m interested, however, in one aspect of RP yet touched upon. How do you handle Cross Faction RP? What are some of the pitfalls of these events?
Hi Bricu!
We’ll cover that! Thanks for the question. I’m adding to the list to toss about.
Good idea Qwazil! Thanks!
